What to expect

At Dublin FBC and Lake Church, you can expect an exciting atmosphere throughout our campuses!

We have people af all ages, backrounds, and races.

At Dublin FBC you will find a place of warm, loving fellowship with our membership.

Below you'll find some helpful information regarding specific questions you may have about your visit to our church.

Where do I park?   At Dublin, we have parking in the front, sides, and rear of the building with entrances located adjacent to each parking lot. Signs are posted to help guide you to our nursery, Sunday school rooms, and our sanctuary.

What should I wear? We do not have a dress code, but the following will help you to determine the general dress of our members at each location. You will find business casual to business style dress for morning worship. Sunday and Wednesday evenings are more casual.

Where should my children go? We have a thriving Children's program for all ages.  We have nursery available for newborn through 2 years, Children's church for 3-5 year olds, while 6-12 year olds remain in the sanctuary with their parents. Our teens also attend Sunday morning worship in the sanctuary. We also have Sunday school classes available for all ages.

Where are the restrooms?  Restrooms are located in the hallway leading to the sanctuary as well as in our Family Life Center.

What is worship like? Our worship is blended. We use Ephesians 5:19 as our guide. We have songs, hymns, and spiritual songs as part of our worship. Our sanctuary choir leads our singing with our  Praise Band, Resonate. You will find a diversity of old and new songs at each worship service. Our heart is to live a lifestyle of worship through the whole week, not just on Sunday mornings.

Which Sunday School class should I attend? We have Sunday school classes available for all ages. Signs are located at the doors to each room. We also have friendly church members who will help you find the right place for you and your family!

Worship

At Dublin FBC, we seek to be authentic and focused on Christ in our worship.

We recognize worship as an attitude of everyday life, not just a part of our Sunday morning services.

Our worship is blended with a mix of traditional hymns and modern worship songs.

We are led each week in worship by our Sanctuary choir and instrumentalists.

Once a month, we are lead by our praise band, Resonate.

Resonate meets each Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm for rehearsal.

The Sanctuary Choir meets at 7:10 pm on Sundays for rehearsal.

If you sing or play an instrument, we would love to have you join us!

Come be a part of the worship ministries of Dublin FBC!

Children's Ministry

Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old,

he will not depart from it."

At Dublin First Baptist Church, children are important.

We desire to help families train their children in the Bible.

We have several ministry opportunities for children each week as well as

nursery available for birth through 2 years old.

During the School year, we offer AWANA on Sunday evenings

from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for ages 3-6th grade.

Our Summer Sunday evening children's program is led by Bryan Hickman, our Children's pastor.

It is for kids from K5-6th grade.

They meet from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Family Life Center.

We have a children's choir which meets the 2nd-4th Wednesdays of each month.

They perform in church monthly.

On the first Wednesday of each month we have Mission Friends.

Awana

We meet every Sunday night at 5:00 for AWANA!

Children learn Bible verses, earn rewards, play games, and have fun learning about Jesus!

Come be a part of our AWANA clubs! K4-6th grade children are welcome!

We also have nursery available for infant through 2 year olds!

amped Student Ministries

AMPED is a worship experience for middle school and high school students. AMPED is our vehicle for reaching the 4,000+ students in Bladen County who do not attend a church. AMPED is a relevant worship service for students that is led by students.
